# Why Ballistic

Source: https://ballistic.app/docs/getting-started/why-ballistic/

After this, you'll understand what Ballistic does that other tools don't, and why launches run here stay clean.

Ballistic is a launch terminal for Solana and Robinhood Chain. You create a token, fund its wallets, launch it, trade it and manage it from one place. Three things set it apart.

## Your launch reads as clean [#your-launch-reads-as-clean]

In Block-0 mode you put your supply into one atomic block, and Ballistic washes it in the same launch.

Atomic means every buy lands together or none of them do, so you hold your supply before a sniper or bot can react to the token existing. Other bundlers get you that far.

The difference is what happens next. Your supply is spread across wallets that don't form a cluster on the holder map (the chart that shows which wallets hold your token), so the launch doesn't get flagged as a bundle even though it was one. See [The wash](https://ballistic.app/docs/launch/the-wash/).

## Your money trail is hard to follow [#your-money-trail-is-hard-to-follow]

The link back to you can be broken at every step: funding, launch and withdrawal.

Fund your buyers from an exchange, over a timed window, or use aged wallets, so they don't look like a batch made the morning of your launch. To anyone reading the chain, they look like separate traders who found the token on their own. See [Fund your launch](https://ballistic.app/docs/launch/funding/) and the [Wallet Oven](https://ballistic.app/docs/wallets/wallet-oven/).

When you take profit, it leaves through private multi-hop withdrawals, so the path from your buyer wallets back to you is hard to trace and cashing out doesn't undo the clean launch.

## One terminal, not five tools [#one-terminal-not-five-tools]

Creating, funding, launching, trading and automation run in one place. You don't juggle a launcher, a funder, a bundler and a trading bot that were never built to work together.

Everything shares the same wallets and the same launch, so what you set up at creation carries through funding, the launch itself and every trade after it.

## What can go wrong [#what-can-go-wrong]

| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| My holder map still shows a cluster | Automatically wash bundle was turned off, so your buys are still in the wallets that made them | Run the wash from the **Wash Bundle** button on the token page. |
| My wallets look freshly funded | You launched with wallets created and funded the same day | Use aged wallets, CEX funding or a funding window so your buyers don't share an obvious start. |
