After this, you'll have quick answers to the most common questions about using Ballistic.

## Which chains does Ballistic support? [#which-chains-does-ballistic-support]

Ballistic launches on Solana and Robinhood Chain. See [Chains and launchpads](https://ballistic.app/docs/getting-started/chains-and-launchpads/).

## Which launchpads can I launch on? [#which-launchpads-can-i-launch-on]

pump.fun and StonkFun on Solana, and Pons on Robinhood Chain. See [Chains and launchpads](https://ballistic.app/docs/getting-started/chains-and-launchpads/) for the modes each one offers.

## How do I sign up? [#how-do-i-sign-up]

Ballistic is invite-only: open your invite link and create your account with Google or a Solana wallet. Email and Telegram sign you in to an account that already exists. See [Sign up and sign in](https://ballistic.app/docs/getting-started/sign-up/).

## Do I need a crypto wallet to sign up? [#do-i-need-a-crypto-wallet-to-sign-up]

No. Sign up with Google and Ballistic creates a wallet for you.

## Where does my wallet come from if I don't connect one? [#where-does-my-wallet-come-from-if-i-dont-connect-one]

Ballistic creates your primary wallet the first time you open the Wallets page. It is your deployer: the wallet that creates your token on-chain.

## What does Ballistic cost? [#what-does-ballistic-cost]

One platform fee, 5%, taken when money leaves a launch or worker wallet. Launching, buying and selling are free, and withdrawals from your primary wallet are free. Airdrops and paid bots have their own charges. See [Fees](https://ballistic.app/docs/reference/fees/).

## What is the Wallet Oven? [#what-is-the-wallet-oven]

The Wallet Oven sells aged Solana wallets, at least a day old with prior on-chain history, so they look like real traders rather than fresh wallets. The dialog shows the price per wallet before you buy. See [Wallet Oven](https://ballistic.app/docs/wallets/wallet-oven/).

## How do referrals work? [#how-do-referrals-work]

You earn a share of the platform fee paid by people you refer, from 20% to 50% depending on your tier. See [Referrals](https://ballistic.app/docs/earn/referrals/).

## What automation does Ballistic have? [#what-automation-does-ballistic-have]

DCA (buying or selling in slices on a schedule), auto-buy, auto-sell and limit orders.

## How are my keys secured? [#how-are-my-keys-secured]

Ballistic stores your keys encrypted. You can export your own keys through a two-step reveal, and turn on 2FA for an extra step at sign-in. See [Keys and security](https://ballistic.app/docs/wallets/security/).

## What can go wrong [#what-can-go-wrong]

| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| You paid an 5% fee on a withdrawal you expected to be free | You withdrew from a worker or launch wallet, not your primary wallet | Expected. Moving funds into your primary pays the same 5%, so there is no fee-free route out for sale proceeds. |
| No wallet appears after signing in | You haven't opened the Wallets page yet | Open the Wallets page once. Ballistic creates your primary wallet then. |
| You can't sign in with your usual method | You signed up with a different method than you're trying now | Use the method you signed up with. Other methods reach the same account only once you link them. |
