# Wallet Oven

After this, you'll have aged wallets in your worker wallet list: bought from the Wallet Oven, badged, and ready to select in any launch.

The Wallet Oven is a pool of aged wallets you buy instead of launching with wallets created the same day. Aged wallets carry prior on-chain activity, so scanners read them as ordinary holders rather than fresh wallets spun up the morning of your launch. Every wallet the Oven sells is at least a day old.

Aged wallets are sold for Solana today.

## When to use it [#when-to-use-it]

- Launches where wallet history matters: projects you plan to run for days or weeks, where scanners have time to inspect your buyers.
- Any launch with a large set of buyer wallets that you want to read as independent from each other.
- When you need aged wallets now and don't have time to age your own before launch.

**When not to:** fast flips under 15 minutes, where nobody inspects wallet age before the token is gone. Fresh wallets work fine there.

## How it works [#how-it-works]

Ballistic keeps a pool of wallets aged ahead of time, and you buy from that pool. The moment a purchase clears, those wallets become your worker wallets.

Every Oven wallet gets an **Oven** badge in your wallet list, so you can tell aged wallets from fresh ones at a glance. They select into launches exactly like any other worker wallet.

The dialog shows the price per wallet before you buy: 0.1 SOL at the time of writing. You can buy up to 50 wallets in one purchase.

## Buy aged wallets [#buy-aged-wallets]

1. Open the Wallets page.
2. Click **Buy aged wallets**.
3. Set the quantity, up to 50.
4. Review the total the dialog shows.
5. Click **Buy**. Ballistic charges your primary wallet directly, with no browser signing.
6. The wallets appear in your list, each with the **Oven** badge.

> **Note**
>
> Payment comes straight from your primary wallet, so you never approve a transaction in your browser.

Once they're yours, Oven wallets behave like any worker wallet: you fund them, select them in a launch, or withdraw from them. The only visible difference is the badge.

## What can go wrong [#what-can-go-wrong]

| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "Purchase in progress", wallets not shown yet | The payment went through and the wallets are still being delivered | Wait; the dialog keeps **Buy** disabled until delivery finishes. Don't start a second purchase. |
| Purchase fails with an insufficient-funds error | Your primary wallet doesn't hold enough SOL to cover quantity times price plus network fees | Top up your primary wallet, then buy again. |
| You can't pick BSC, Base or Ethereum in the dialog | Aged wallets are sold for Solana only | Buy on Solana. |
