Launch
The wash
After this, you'll understand how a Block-0 launch ends up looking clean on a holder map instead of like a bundle.
When you launch in Block-0 mode, all your buys land in one atomic block (a single block where every transaction settles together). On their own, those buys sit in a set of connected wallets. A holder map, also called a bubble map (a chart that draws each holder as a bubble and links wallets that are connected), draws that set as one tight cluster, and a cluster is what reads as a bundle.
The wash fixes that. It scatters your supply so nothing clusters.
The problem a raw bundle creates
A Block-0 launch is fast and atomic, but the wallets that hold the supply afterwards are linked. Anyone reading the map sees the link and knows the supply belongs to one person.
That link is what the wash removes.
What the wash achieves
The wash moves your supply through separate proxy wallets using ordinary market activity, so it ends up spread across unconnected addresses instead of one cluster.
To a scanner reading the chart, the result looks like normal trading, not a bundle. Your wallets read as independent holders.
The wash doesn't change how much supply you hold. It changes where that supply sits and how it looks on the map.
When it runs
The Automatically wash bundle switch is on by default, so the wash runs right after launch. Turn it off to run the wash yourself later with the Wash Bundle button on the token page. Until you run it, your supply stays clustered.
Delay between wash buys sets how long the wash waits between its buys, from 0 to 10 seconds. The default is 10 seconds.
Checking the result
Open the Bubblemaps tab on your token to see the result for yourself. A washed launch shows scattered bubbles with no lines tying them together. The tab is not available for Robinhood Chain tokens.
For how to read the map and what a clean result looks like next to a clustered one, see Bubblemaps.
What can go wrong
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The map shows a connected cluster | Automatically wash bundle was turned off, so the wash hasn't run yet | Run the wash from the Wash Bundle button on the token page. |
| The map still shows a cluster right after launch | The wash is still running and hasn't finished scattering the supply | Give it time to finish, then check the map again. |
